Sinopse
In 1849, the dream of João Manuel is to write a serial novel for the local newspaper of his small town. The owner, Mr. Tista, would never allow it because João is just a Brazilian boy that has never been to Europe. He would only allow João to translate a story from French, but of course João didn’t know anything in French. “BUT I HAVE A BOOK IN FRENCH AND I CAN TRANSLATE IT!” This is how this story begins, along with the adventures of this adorable con man.
